AI for Cleaning
AI books cleaning appointments into the owner's schedule, sends the client a confirmation with the service date and preparation instructions (empty the dishwasher, pick up personal items from floors), and sets up recurring schedules for regular clients. Every appointment is confirmed; every client receives a reminder the day before.
Cleaning appointment booking has two modes: one-time bookings (a deep clean, a move-out clean) and recurring bookings (weekly or bi-weekly maintenance clients on a fixed schedule). AI handles both.
For one-time bookings, AI shows available slots from the owner's calendar, the client picks a time, and a confirmation is sent with preparation instructions. Preparation instructions reduce the time wasted at the start of a clean: 'Please put away personal items on counters and floors before the cleaner arrives' means the cleaner can start cleaning immediately rather than clearing space first.
For recurring clients, AI sets up the repeating schedule: every Thursday at 10am, every other Monday, first Tuesday of the month. The client receives a reminder the day before each service. The owner's schedule populates automatically for the full season without weekly booking administration. When the client needs to skip or reschedule, AI handles the change and adjusts the recurring schedule accordingly.
Common questions
Yes. For owner-operators managing their own schedule, AI can book appointments sequentially with appropriate travel time between properties, maximising the number of cleans per day. The owner configures the typical service duration for different home sizes and the AI books accordingly — a 2-bedroom clean is 2 hours; a 4-bedroom deep clean is 4 hours; these constraints prevent double-booking and unrealistic scheduling.
